Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS)
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) is an industry-led and internationally recognised quality assurance scheme, supported by the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC).
MCS certifies microgeneration products used to produce electricity and heat from renewable sources. MCS also certifies installation companies to ensure the microgeneration products have been installed and commissioned to the highest standard for the consumer.
Renewable Energy Consumer Code (RECC)
The Renewable Energy Consumer Code was set up by the Renewable Energy Association with an aim to guarantee a high quality experience for consumers wishing to buy or lease small-scale energy generation systems for their homes. The Renewable Energy Consumer Code logo is a sign that the company has agreed to abide by the high standards set out in our Consumer Code.
National Association of Professional Inspectors and Testers (NAPIT)
NAPIT is one of the leading Government approved and United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS) accredited membership scheme operators in the building services and fabric sector. There are currently more than 10,000 NAPIT registered installers in the electrical, heating, plumbing, ventilation, microgeneration and building fabric trades across the UK domestic, commercial and industrial markets.
We are full scope members for electrical installations, allowing us to work on domestic and commercial electrical systems. NAPIT is also our certifying body for MCS.
REFCOM
Air conditioning and refrigeration systems use chemicals that are harmful to the atmosphere and the environment if not properly managed. As a REFCOM F-gas (Fluorinated Gas) certified company we are able to handle refrigerant gases as required by the F-gas regulations, as well as maintain and service systems.
